It's tough for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have long been mastered.

We're talking about the squad that has won seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and once went over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the achievement hunters, are all that remain for a squad that has won it all.

That it took as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the largest in the female 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the bowlers that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

It is hard for their batsmen to possess a record if not provided the possibility.

Ultimately, the outcome of Australia allowing 330 runs was captain Alyssa Healy receiving a platform to create her most recent brilliance.

"A chance to go out there and engage in competition with her and just have a bit of fun in that regard, kind of motivated me," commented Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 balls - her quickest at a World Cup - and her century in 84 balls as she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three sixes.

When she was dismissed the team required another 66 at one run per ball - a manageable total now needing a comfortable finish.

"To chase 330 is new territory so I am glad we have the assurance to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to repeat it but, should it happen, we know we can do it."

These statements will be the ultimate thing Australia's opponents at this championship need to hear.

In recent days a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this success succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may well be secure.

During that phase they left the previous year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - a game Healy missed because of damaged tissue in her foot as she led her country for the initial instance at a significant event.
